This carpet was specially designed for a customer who wanted it for her
little daughter's bedroom. The Butterfly design is taken from a photograph in
a child’s drawing book, in colours which were all chosen by the makers in
India. The carpet can be laid down on a floor, or looks equally distinctive
as a wall-hanging. It comprises 50,000 knots of New Zealand wool, handmade in
18 days by students of the weaving academy.
