Choose a design

You can choose a design and colour it the way you want. We have six border colours and equal number of ground colours for each carpet for you to design and chooses one out of 36 combinations. You can choose any of the six border or ground and mail us for further enquiries. Click on the photographs below to enlarge and design your own carpet. After getting into the details of the carpet, you can see different colours on clicking on the different borders and grounds on your left and right hand side of the screen. The picture containing the details are best viewed in 1200x800 or higher screen resolution.

All these carpets can be customized as per your requirement relating to size, colour and quality. We can also personalise the carpets to incorporate coat of arms, initials etc.


Bihara
This carpet derives its name from a weaving village in the Mirzapur/Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. Because of the detail, it is woven in 30:30 quality with 90,000 knots in every square metre. The pattern gives the rug a sober but appealing look. It is in every way a classic Indian carpet that will be appreciated by knowledgeable carpet people.

Surya
Surya means SUN and is a dense and very complicated design, characterized by the large central medallion. The carpet is woven in the fine weave of 250,000 knots per square metre denoting our 50:50 quality. The carpet (8ft X 10ft) is woven by 3 weavers at a rate of 2 inches per day in 55 days, using New Zeald wool.

Kashmir
It is hard to know what inspired the naming of this carpet, Kashmir, apart from the flowers which are in abundance in this lovely country. The design is inspired by carpets woven during the Mogul period. Unlike most oriental carpet designs (other than prayer mats) the pattern is laid out in one direction. Most designs, particularly for larger carpets, will repeat in each half. Kashmir is a fine carpet having 1,60,000 knots in every square metre denoting 40:40 quality.

The design of the carpets looks like having a number of planets and stars in it justifying its name. The carpet can be weaved in 20:20 quality with 40,000 knots every square metre. Kamal
Kamal is the Hindi name of Lotus. The pattern contains mant small flowers giving the look of lotus. Its a fine weave carpet having 160,000 knots per square metre. One carpet of 8ft x 10 ft (2.50 mtr X 3.10 mtr) will have more than 1.2 million knots.

Gerua
