This means 'wheel' in Hindi. The name is described as such as the designers felt that some of the motifs look like the catherine wheel firework. The carpet is made of 30 to 45 count Indian hand spun wool. The ends are finished with a short kelim incorporating the colours of the Indian flag and tea dyed. The rug is washed chemically and has a slight yellowish tinge. |
