Suraj

Suraj means SUN and is a dense and very complicated design, characterized by the large central medallion. The carpet is woven in the fine weave of 250,000 knots per sq metre, and in pastel colours. It is  woven by 3 weavers at a rate of 2 inches per day in 55 days, using New Zealand wool.
