The design name is derived from a plant in India. The plant is very sacred for the Hindu community and is found in most houses in India. It has many healing qualities and is very good for mild cold and coughs. The rug is made of 90,000 knots per square metre and denotes our 30:30 quality. The pile is 0.4 inches and is made of Indian multi-coloured hand spun wool. The variation in the colours is as a result of the different colours of the undyed wool. |
